Research and Development
The hourly rates below can be used for:
a period of development or research which an artist is being funded to undertake
a general administration rate where an artist is paid an additional fee for extra work being requested beyond what is covered by a flat fee
The residency fees have been developed for organisations receiving public funding for residency programs:
they are per artist
can be applied to residencies with no outcome expectation for the artist, or applied to residencies expecting an outcome such as the production of new work, presentation of an exhibition (non-selling), or the facilitation of workshops. If an outcome is required of the artist, the artist and residency should refer to the Artist Fees (new work) tables to determine a comparable fee
the fees do not include materials, production, equipment usage, accommodation or administration and technical support
No fees below include GST or Superannuation.
