Payment Standards
As per the previous Code, the below rates have been reproduced from the Australian Society of Authors.
Fees do not include GST or Superannuation.

Panel appearance | $257.00 for panelists $505.00 for panel chair/facilitator |
Keynote (1 hour) | $1,680.00 + (depending on speakers experience, scale of event and whether a publicly available recording is part of the agreement) |
Podcasts or audio/visual recordings
Increasingly, live appearances are subsequently made available as podcasts or audio/visual recordings. In this instance, we recommend the presenter be paid an additional 20% on top of the appearance fee for the podcast or recording to be publicly available indefinitely.
