Organisations should put transparent and equitable application and selection processes in place, and meet their legal obligations in terms of workplace health and safety, intellectual property, tax and superannuation. Organisations must also ensure they create a safe and welcoming space for artists – offering orientation and helping to connect them with the community. 

In particular, organisations need to provide support structures for people from First Nations communities, people who are d/Deaf, Disabled or from culturally diverse backgrounds, whether they be artists or community members hoping to connect with artists.
