Checklist

The agreement should be clear and detail:

• loan fee (or artist fee if commissioning new work, see Payment Standards and Commissioning New Work (Non-Acquisition)

• production fee

• identify the dates, location and title of the exhibition

• timeline including: 

  • delivery of supporting material such as images, statements and biography

  • delivery of artwork 

  • install and deinstall dates

  • opening or closing event (if any)

• a full and detailed list of artworks loaned including any preferred wording for attribution or, if for new commissioned work (non-acquisition), an artist proposal

• floor plan of space

• transport

• installation

• images for promotion

• accessibility provisions

• insurance

• damages to work
