Commissioning and funding organisations play a significant role in supporting the sector and providing pathways for artists moving through the industry. 

This section covers good practice when an artist is commissioned to make new work either by a gallery, privately, or for public space. This includes the commissioning process and checklists for agreements. This section also covers public and private funding and good practice for applying and assessing processes. It can be used by artists or organisations engaging in commissioning or funding processes.
