Artist Run Initiatives (ARIs) and First Nations Art Centres are incubators for some of the most exciting, adventurous and responsive art in our communities. Often working with limited funds, these organisations rely on sturdy structures, aligned values and good practice processes to ensure they benefit all members.

This section covers good practice for working with ARIs and Art Centres. This includes internal models, processes and ethical considerations. This section can be used by members of an artist-run organisation or those planning to start one, as well as artists and organisations looking to engage or collaborate with an ARI or an Art Centre.
